Featured in Bride Magazine - showcasing the most beautiful wedding dresses from Dress Code Nine

30th Sep 2019

It was a dream wearing the most gorgeous bridal gowns for the day, all wedding dresses were from Dress Code Nine and the photography was by Alex Rose.  I was blessed with modelling three beautiful bridal gowns.  Which is your favourite dress?  See pics below.

My wedding dress in the above & below pictures is by Mary's Bridal.  I felt like a complete princess in this dress, it was the most comfortable dress that I got to wear that day, and I absolutely loved the sequin shimmer under the tulle and the sparkly beaded bodice gave the dress its magical princess look and feel.  I wanted to wear this dress, all day, everyday!  Model, Megan Roose is also wearing a dress by Mary's Bridal from Dress Code Nine, which has an illusion back, v-neckline and soft bell train, she looked absolutely stunning and it really showed off her gorgeous, elegant figure. Megan's dress is £1,287 and my dress is £1,107.

Carla Lynch, the owner of Dress Code Nine was hands on throughout the day, making sure the dresses looked perfect (pic above).

These beautiful photos (above) were taken at The Lodges at Stoke by Nayland Hotel, which are luxury self-catered accommodation.  I am most definitely a fan of The Lodge as you benefit from all the facilities at the hotel, enjoying the golf course, fitness centre, dining and spa, and then you can retreat to the comfort and privacy of your own Lodge.  All pictures are taken by Alex Rose Photography.  You can see more on Stoke by Nayland Hotel's Wedding Page, www.stokebynayland.com/weddings

I felt that this dress (as above) was the most show-stopping of the day.  I loved wearing a pale pink wedding dress as pink is one of my favourite colours to wear and is such a pretty colour.   I am wearing the Blossom dress, and again by Mary's Bridal.  It is an ivory and pink floral, strapless design with a sweetheart neckline, and a corset back, and the skirt was layered to give it the wow factor.  I wore my Undercover Glamour Wedding Stick on Bra all day for the shoot which works perfectly for strapless wedding dresses like this.  Our Wedding Stick on Bra is also padded so this helps you fill out the dress if needed, which in my case was most definitely needed!   Megan, in the pic below is wearing an art deco style, heavily embroidered fitted bridal gown by Art Couture.  Megan's dress is £1,707.  My dress (Blossom) is only £1,287; I was actually very surprised when I found this out as the dress is so well made, and very flattering I expected it to be a lot more expensive.

I loved the corset back of the Blossom dress, I felt like royalty in this wedding dress.  The dress was heavy to wear because of the layered skirt but I feel this is the most beautiful dress that I got to wear for the bridal shoot.   Carla (owner of Dress Code Nine) and Gemma (hair stylist) are helping me with my shoes in the picture above as this dress was difficult to move in due to the layering in the skirt, it looks amazing though, so it is worth it, you just need help at hand if you choose to wear this dress on your wedding day.

Model wearing dress by Eternity Bridal

The last dress of the day that I got to wear is Zara by Eternity Bridal, it is priced at £1,197 from Dress Code Nine.  I felt this was the most elegant dress that I wore but better suited to someone with a more feminine shape and it would have looked better on someone with a bust due to the plunge neckline.  It was a beautifully made dress, and I loved how the back looked in the photos.  These photos were taken in the Devora Suite at Stoke By Nayland Hotel, which is one of their wedding function rooms.  All pictures by Alex Rose Photography.
