ADVANTAGES OF CLIP-IN HAIR EXTENSIONS....

Why clip-in hair extensions rather than bonded (glued to your hair) hair extensions?

Clip-in hair extensions provide a quick transformation to your hair making you feel more glamorous.

With bonded hair extensions you have more hair all of the time but it is easier to do sport with less hair (without clip-in hair extensions). It is easy to manage less hair under a riding hat, cycling or snowboarding helmet, or on a windy day at the golf course. There are times when you might not want glamorous, long, volume locks – with clip-in hair extensions you can choose when you want the celebrity look.

Chlorine and salt water damages hair extensions and causes them to tangle so with clip-in hair extensions you can take them out when you go swimming. Less hair is also easier to manage when swimming, wake boarding or surfing.

With clip-in hair extensions you can vary your look by choosing how much extra hair you wish to put in. Some days you can add a few strands to make it look that little bit thicker but on special occasions you can put in all the clip-in hair extensions to go for the maximum volumn, celebrity looking hair.

Clip-in hair extensions are less damaging to your hair than bonded hair as with bonded hair it is glued to your hair.

Clip-in hair extensions are a much cheaper option than bonded hair as bonded hair requires regular trips to the hair dresser. Salon’s recommend renewing your bonded hair extensions every 3 to 6 months depending on your hair growth.

With bonded hair you have to be careful when using heat i.e., curling tongs or a hair dryer. The heat will melt the bonds (the glue). With clip-in hair extensions you can style your hair while it is not in your hair making it easier to manage.

With bonded hair you need to rely on a professional to manage your extensions whereas with clip-in hair extensions you can make look good from home.
